With over 25 years as a beloved neighbourhood café, Choupinette has built a loyal local following and a strong sense of community. However, with a new wave of contemporary coffee concepts entering the area, the brand needs to evolve to remain distinctive and competitive.
Our approach modernises the identity while respecting its heritage. We’ve developed a clean, contemporary logo that feels fresh and confident, positioning the café alongside newer entrants without losing its authenticity. A subtle nod to classic French café culture is introduced through a refined vintage-inspired typeface; elegant, timeless, and warm.
To honour the café’s legacy, we have retained and reinterpreted the signature capital “C”, carefully adjusting its form and weight to align with the new typography while preserving a visual link to the original brand. This thoughtful evolution ensures continuity for existing customers while signalling a confident step forward.
The result is a brand identity that feels both rooted and relevant - contemporary enough to attract a new generation of coffee drinkers, yet authentic to the café’s 25-year story.
