Taman Warna is a vibrant new ecosystem of specialist media and marketing offerings, built around six exciting sub-brands. Together, they exist to bring Colour, Creativity, and Courage back to the industry in Southeast Asia.
The brief called for one bold, colourful main logo that leaned into Southeast Asian artistic flair, along with six complementary sub-logos for the company’s different businesses spanning AI advertising, events, creative recruitment, and more.
To spark inspiration, we visited the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) and the Peranakan Museum. We were especially drawn to the rich cultural and creative melting pot of the Peranakans, which strongly influenced the design of the umbrella brand and its suite of sub-brands. We also explored the fascinating world of Risograph printing — particularly its layered colour aesthetic — and incorporated this into our design approach.
The result is the Taman Warna logo, created with the bold and expressive Intro font and a set of geometric, coloured flowers, each representing one of the sub-brands (each being names after it's corresponding colour in bahasa melayu. For the sub-logos, each flower was refined with subtle opacities and layered details inspired by Risography, giving them a distinctive look while maintaining a strong visual connection to the parent brand.
The outcome is a suite of sleek, bold, and energetic logos that not only stand out individually, but also celebrate Southeast Asian cultural flair as a unified brand identity.
